When We Are Closed

Out-of-hours GP cover is maintained throughout the year - including weekends and holidays - and is the responsibility of the Hertfordshire CCG, and is provided by the organisation Herts Urgent Care.

If you need medical attention that cannot wait until the surgery reopens please phone 111. Calls to 111 are free from both landlines and mobile phones

If in doubt please telephone the surgery first on (01707) 273338 and follow the answerphone message.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath or signs of stroke (think FAST) constitute an emergency.

Call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergencyNHS ChoicesThis site is brought to you by My Surgery Website
