Health Walks.

The patient group have organised a weekly health walk starting from the Brookmans Hotel every Thursday at 10.30, see the PPG pages for further information.

Electronic Prescriptions

We are pleased to announce that Potterells is now using the electronic prescription transfer system. This should be a simpler process for issuing medication and we hope it will be more secure and will mean fewer prescriptions going missing. If you would like to make use of this service please inform your regular pharmacist

 

Test Results

If you have had a blood test, microbiology test, X-ray, ultrasound etc. arranged by the practice you will be expected to telephone for the result. Test results are given out by reception on the main surgery number (01707) 273338 only after 11:00.

Tests arranged by hospital doctors will typically be discussed with you at outpatients. Please do not ask us for these results unless you have been specifically told to.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
